Escapees
Lately
News,
Pursued,
Hiding,
Running,
Lost
In
Tangled
Woods.
Doomed,
These
Two
Tall
Men
Of
Tricks
And
Sin,
Smart,
Wily,
Cunning,
They
Should
Have
Ruled
Wall
Street,
Or
The
Halls
Of
Power
Like
Other
Raptors,
Instead
Of
Jailed
Forever
By
Their
Captors.
What
I see
Is
Pitiable
To
Me.
Chosen
Or
Given,
They
Have
Lived
As
Murderous
Slaves,
Imprisoned
In
Themselves
Until
The
Grave.

Somebody
Dead,
That
We
Live
In
A
Nation
That
Has
Gone
From
Progress
To
Decline
Without
The
Intervening
Civilization.
I fear
This
Is
So,
Which
Gives
Me
Pain,
Because,
Having
Nowhere
Else
To
Go,
I must
Remain.
I have
No
Carefree
Desert
Isle,
So
This
Patch
Of
Sand
Will
Suit
My
Style,
As
I write
Myself
Away
From
The
Calamity
Of

Trucks
Groan

Squeak
Down
The
Street
Once

Week,
Keeping
Things
Neat.
The
Job
Is
Grey,
But
We
All
Must
Dispose

Yesterday,
And
Men
Need

Pay.
I strive
To
Limit
What
I throw
Away,
But
Contribute
Heavily
To
Landfill
Disarray,
And
Empty
Continents
Of
Trees,
Using
All
The
Paper
Goods
I please.
When
My
Expiration
Date
Arrives,
Waste
Vehicles
Will
Come
In
Haste,
To
Fetch
Me
In
My
Faded
Party
Dress,
And
Add
My
Body
To
The
Earthly
Mess.

Crooks
That

Thing
Else
You
Own,
In
Dead
Of
Night,
Or
Broad
Daylight.

However,
There’s
Plenty
Of
Hexes
Next
Door
In
Texas,
And
Heavy
Vexation
In
The
Texican
Nation.
Tornado,
Flood,
Endless
Mud,
And
Patriotic
Sons
With
Guns.
