Occurrence

Mr. Bennett,
While taking 
Out trash,
Was witness
To a
Horrific crash. 
One car
Going south,
Hit another
Traveling east,
Giving onlookers
A visual
Feast.
A slab
Of plywood
Flew from
One vehicle,
And with 
The force 
Of a
Sickle,
Knocked
Mr. Bennett
Flat,
And that
Was that.
The cops
Sped in
And arrested
The villain
Deemed guilty
Of the 
Killing.
The other man,
Too drunk
To stand,
Was locked in
The squad car
To prevent 
Him from 
Going far.
They carted
Away the
Lifeless form
Of poor
Mr. Bennett,
Fatally dented.
All agreed
It was not 
The norm
To meet 
An end
Putting 
A sack
In the
Garbage bin.
